Entry Points of the Enemy

The Fourteen Entry Points of the Enemy

Group 1- Amos 3: 11-15

a.       Wealth Creation - Our world today is filled with several opportunities, to be financial free or to at least survive comfortably. The process of acquiring and maintaining wealth comes always with challenges and test. These processes accompany with itself a loophole that violates the holiness of a person and sets one on the part of disharmony with Christ. Remember Cardinal Rule 5, Trust not in wealth, fame or riches for they will all fade away and eventually is abandoned upon death of the body. We must not be swayed in our resolve to gain or maintain our harmony with Christ because of a need to be wealthy or maintain the flow of wealth. Remember these things are secondary. What is primary is our enlightenment which is maintained as a result of our continuous harmony with Christ.

b.      Religious activities – Wondering why religious activities are an entry point of the enemy. As a matter of fact it is the biggest entry point. Because, we feel safe and secure when we feel we are doing God’s work or abiding in his home. However as a result of religious activities a lot of persons are influenced by the enemy and lose their way more, instead of otherwise. The church is no longer what it used to be, one has to be extra vigilant while in the church than anywhere else. My reason for saying this is simple, you can hardly recognize an enemy in the church, and most times not until one is on a part of sin and hypocrisy, you don’t see it coming. The most subtle kind of spiritual battle is fought in the church. As we gain self-awareness, we must warn also those lost in the delusion of “Justification” that surrounds the church today and pave way for a new path; which is pure, holy and total in harmony with Christ.

c.       Human activities – Through everyday human activities the enemy gains entry into a person’s lives, thus influencing their future and sometimes altering destinies. Every day the evil one spins webs of darkness. As enlightened humans, we must ensure that we are not caught in these webs. These webs are prompted by sin and evil activities that are contrary to the command and will of God Almighty. Once one becomes entangled in this web, it becomes a source of control for the evil powers. However a life in harmony with Christ is free of these vices, as life is guided on the purpose of God free from sin, iniquity and the webs of this world.

d.      Human ordeals - When in difficult situations, a person is sometimes pushed to the wall and may opt to do the extreme. To do that, that is contrary to their normal way of life. It can be a Christian who has lost faith, or a person struggling in a difficult situation pushed to look for answers or solutions the wrong way. All these been done out of frustration, pain and lack of hope. The enemy uses this opportunity as a point of entry and gains permanent control over a person’s life and destiny. Most times these conditions are a test, some people emerge victorious, other fall victim of the vices of the evil one. In extreme situations we should learn to trust absolutely in God
            Group 2- Acts 17:13-21
            (Trends and the Social Mirror)

e.       Covetousness

f.       Pride – Like Cardinal Rule 2 says, our source of strength or motivation should not be pride or ambition. God hates a proud man and the more, a prod look. Pride leads to covetousness and an ambition that has no moral principles all in an effort to keep face. Pride is subtle and evil, not all proud people agree they are proud, and not all motivated by pride, even know it.

g.      Immoral indulgence

h.      Love and lust

i.        Excitements

j.        Mind enhancements Like Cardinal Rule 6 Indicates, our desire must reflect the desires of Christ and as such we must be in control of our emotions and desire. Our mind must not give in to sexual immorality, immoral love and lust, excitements and mind enhancement. There vices set one on a path to addiction and under the influence of circumstances. We must refrain from this path
k.      Generation influence – Strive every day to gain enlightenment, to be in harmony with Christ. A person who has achieved these is free of all influences of past generations.
l.        Preservation of health

m.    Fear of death – Be satisfied with yourself. See beyond the physicality of the body and the ephemerality of the earth. Learn that they is a higher plane, where eternity will be spent. Gain enlightenment and conquer death. ( read also the inescapable truth called death)
n.      Doubt and lack of faith – A life void of faith is a life in disharmony with Christ. To gain enlightenment, we must have faith in the power of God to connect us to our inner selves and harmonize our spirit being with Christ. Faith is the ultimate key in the fight against evil. Like Cardinal Rule 7 says, fight evil with much more force than it throws at you. We must have, show and express faith in all we do.
